Keenan was born and raised in the small town of Farmington, Missouri.  While growing up, Keenan was in many church and school plays.  His love and talent in basketball allowed for him to play collegiate athletics while also performing on stage.  While in school in St. Louis, he landed an agent and booked some acting work.


Keenan moved to New York in the fall of 2000.  During his time in NY he studied with many talented and respected teachers at T. Schreiber Studios and with acclaimed teacher Anthony Abeson.  While in NY he also shot many student and independent films.  


In Fall of 2004 Keenan made the jump to Los Angeles.  Since being in Los Angeles he has continued to hone his acting with great teachers such as Lesly Kahn and Michelle Danner at The Edgemar Center for the Arts.  He has continued to shoot independent films and has received critical acclaims for the plays "All Aboard the Marriage Hearse" and "Angry Young Women in Low Rise Jeans with High-Class Issues".
